Located not far from downtown, El Rio Golf Course dates back to the 1930's and
was the original site of the Tucson Open. The Course was Tucson's first Country
Club and was operated as a private facility until 1968. The layout features tight
fairways, small greens, relatively flat terrain, two lakes, and numerous mature
trees.
